Women's Sexual Health After Cancer
August 11, 5:00-6:15PM
Zoom Audio/Video (Login Information in Registration Confirmation)
Let’s spend some time together validating that sexual health is an important aspect of cancer survivorship. The cancer experience can threaten the desire for intimacy, change the functional aspects of a sexual life, and impact intimate relationships. Physical and hormonal changes are common and sometimes they are the more ‘visible’ pieces of sexual health care. But let’s also address the more nuanced aspect of living through a life-threatening event, experiencing a shift in identity, altered body image, and relationships challenged and changed.
There will be a Q&A segment after the presentation. If you have topics/questions that you would like Lisa Egan to specifically address, send them to Zoya, zoyak@ovariancancerosw.org.
About the Presenter:
A native Oregonian, Egan enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, with her husband and two sons.
