Survivorship Tips, Now What... Educational Session Presented by Lisa Egan
Watch the recorded session here
No two people have the same experience with cancer-- it is an experience of great individuality. But what most people share is the common belief that life is different after their cancer diagnosis. This session on survivorship tips will take a look into life after a cancer diagnosis including potential long term effects of treatments, the challenges associated with navigating the health care system, resources available for cancer survivors. We will also discuss the concepts of post- traumatic stress as well as post-traumatic growth as they relate to the cancer experience.
There will be a Q&A segment after the presentation.
