Walking beside someone with cancer can be tough. Most people in caregiving positions tell us that they want to offer help and support, yet also have their own experiences of fear, sadness, and grief. This session will consider the multiple facets of caregiving and how to provide care for a loved one with cancer while also caring for one's self.

This session is presented by Susan Hedlund, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., O.S.W.-C., Director, Patient/Family Support Services, OHSU Knight Cancer Institute, School of Medicine.

While this session is open to everyone, it's designed for caregivers, family, and friends.
