Mission: promote ovarian cancer awareness and education; support those diagnosed and survivors; and advocate for public policy and funding.
Ovarian cancer survivors and members of the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and SW Washington are having lunch together in Medford on June 7th.
The lunch will be informal, and a simple way for ovarian cancer survivors from southern Oregon to meet other ovarian cancer survivors who live in the Medford/Ashland area, plus a few additional survivors from the Portland area. The lunch will be hosted and paid for by the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and SW Washington; friends and family are welcome, too, but are asked to cover their own lunch.
Please register to attend so we know how many to expect.
Note: we define "Survivor" as any woman who has ever received an ovarian cancer diagnosis, whether she is N.E.D. (yeah!), in current treatment for a first-time diagnosis, or facing a recurrence.
