Mission: promote ovarian cancer awareness and education; support those diagnosed and survivors; and advocate for public policy and funding.
Our annual Survivor and Volunteer Luncheon, is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2018. The luncheon celebrates the lives of ovarian cancer survivors and those who volunteer for our organization.
Note: we define "Survivor" as any woman who has ever received an ovarian cancer diagnosis, whether she is N.E.D. (yeah!), in current treatment for a first-time diagnosis, or facing a recurrence.
Ovarian cancer survivors and volunteers are invited to attend free of charge. Guests are welcome to attend, but we ask that they pay a small fee for their lunch ($20 per person).
This year's guest speaker is Lisa Egan, P.A.-C. Lisa works in the gynecologic oncology division at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) and will speak about the Oregon Ovarian Cancer Registry, among other topics.
This event is sponsored through the generosity of Compass Oncology.
