Presented by Lisa Coussens, Ph.D., chair of the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology, OHSU School of Medicine; and director of basic research, OHSU Knight Cancer Institute.
Coussens is building an interactive and innovative environment for cutting-edge biomedical research at OHSU. She is world-renowned for her work exploring how cells that surround a tumor fuel its growth and affect its response to treatment. Coussens’ presentation will focus on what’s on the horizon for cancer research and treatments.
