13th Annual O-Vary Funny!

A Stand-Up Benefit for Ovarian Cancer

September 20, 2025, 6:30pm (Save the Date!)

Hilton Portland Downtown

Ovarian cancer survivors need hope—hope for a better outcome, hope for survival, and hope to overcome the disease. We created “O-vary Funny!” to do just that—to bring together the local ovarian cancer community for a night of hope, camaraderie, a much-needed laugh, and the opportunity to financially support the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Oregon and SW Washington and its mission.

Event Goals:

  • Raise funds for OCAOSW
  • Unite the local ovarian cancer community including survivors, friends, families, medical providers, and advocates
  • Provide a platform for education and awareness of the disease
  • Provide hope, fellowship, support, education, and entertainment for survivors and their families/friends

Event proceeds support our pillar programs, including:

  • Here4You Financial Assistance Program: helps low-income women in treatment pay for critical expenses such as rent, heat, and medicine
  • OCAOSW Virtual Support Groups: from Longview to Medford, survivors are eager to connect virtually, guided by an oncology social worker
  • Survivors Teaching Students Program: helps medical, nursing, pharmacy, and naturopath students understand the survivors’ human and personal journeys and how the students can better assist in care as they move into their professions
  • By Your Side Chemotherapy Care Kits: hand-packed with high-quality items and resources to provide comfort and support for women undergoing chemotherapy or facing a recurrence
  • Peer Mentors: In the midst of a frightening diagnosis, OCAOSW links newly diagnosed women with trained peer mentors
Gratitude to our amazing 2024 sponsors who made this event possible and help us advance our mission for our ovarian cancer community:
