About the Presenter:

Andrea Hardy, RN, BSN, is a Gynecologic Oncology Nurse Care Coordinator at Providence Medical Center. She cares for patients with gynecologic cancer throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Among her various nursing services, Andrea provides patient education, specifically with starting chemotherapy, and over the course of treatment for symptom management. This support helps to ease the journey into the unknown and empowers patients to participate in their own health care.

Andrea states, “The role of a patient educator is a great privilege in my nursing work with patients. And I appreciate having the opportunity to develop close working relationships with patients over the course of their treatment and medical care."

A native Oregonian, Andrea enjoys running, hiking/ backpacking in nature with her pup, Finlee, gardening, cooking/ baking, and sharing time with family and friends.
