Interview
1. What is your connection to ovarian cancer and OCAOSW? I was diagnosed with Stage III ovarian cancer in September 2013.
2. What is your biggest hope with regard to this disease? Early detection. A cure.
3. What does OCAOSW do for our community that makes it unique? I like that the organization helps newly diagnosed women through the Peer Mentoring Program. Also, the Survivors Teaching Students Program is great.
4. What are your proudest achievements in life? Or what brings you the greatest joy? My family brings me the greatest joy, and beating cancer has been top on my list of proudest moments.
5. What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to hike year round, ski in the winter, read and hang out with friends and family.
6. Tell me something about you that most other people don't know about you. I am number 7 in a family of ten kids!!
